Health Auto Export — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Health Auto Export ("the app"), developed by HealthyApps, handles your data.

Your Health Data Stays on Your Device

Health Auto Export reads data from Apple Health with your permission. All health data processing happens entirely on your device. We do not have access to, collect, transmit, or store your health data on any server.

Data Exports and Automations

When you configure exports or automations, data is sent directly from your device to the destination you choose (e.g., iCloud Drive, Google Drive, Dropbox, a REST API, or another service). We do not act as an intermediary and have no access to this data in transit or at rest.

Analytics and Diagnostics

The app does not include any third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. We may receive anonymized, aggregate crash reports and usage statistics through Apple's built-in analytics if you have opted in via your device settings.

In-App Purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. Purchase validation is handled on-device.

Data Collection Summary

Health data — read from Apple Health on-device only; never sent to us.
Personal information — not collected by the app.
Crash reports — only via Apple's opt-in system.
Payment data — handled entirely by Apple; not accessible to us.

Data is only sent to an external server, or shared via any wired or wireless data transport method, in the following cases:

Via explicit User action when performing a data export. In this process, the User selects the method by which data is shared. The privacy policies of User-selected third-party services will apply when exporting data (e.g. Dropbox, Google Drive, email, other cloud storage providers, etc.).
When using Dropbox and/or Google Drive, Health Auto Export obtains access tokens necessary to create files in the storage destination. Health Auto Export does not collect email or name information on users and does not access data it does not create.
When Automatic Backups are enabled, data will be stored on-device via Apple's iCloud Drive service.
When Auto Sync is enabled, data will be transferred and stored via Apple's iCloud Drive. iCloud Terms and Conditions will apply when data is stored using the service. Data stored using Auto Sync is kept in a private container, accessible only by devices the User owns. This means the Developer, nor Apple, ever has access to user data.
When using Automations, data will be sent directly over HTTPS to the URL or service specified by the User. Terms and Conditions of the services selected by the User will apply.

Google Data

When connecting to Google Drive, Health Auto Export requests only the permissions necessary to backup data to your account.

Health Auto Export requests tokens that are used to integrate with the Google Drive API.
Health Auto Export does not store personal information, such as your name or email address.
Health Auto Export creates a folder in which your data from the app is stored and does not read nor write to data outside the folders it creates.

Children's Privacy

The app is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
