Add Apple Health Widgets to the Home & Lock Screen

This guide outlines how you can use Healthy Widgets to add widgets to your Home Screen and Lock Screen for your Apple Health data.
To create a new widget, tap the ‘+’ button in the top right navigation bar. To edit an existing widget, tap on the widget in the list of existing configurations.
In oder to display health data, you will need to enable read access to each health metric type.
In the widget editor, you will be prompted to allow access to Apple Health the first time selecting a particular data type.
The Widget Editor is where you will create and edit your various widget configurations. The following properties are configurable:
Name
Health Metric
Preferred Unit
Widget background color
Widget text/foreground color
Widget chart axis color
*Step Count is used as the default metric when there is no current user selection. On the Home and Lock Screen, open the widget’s edit menu to make a selection.
Add a Widget to the Home Screen
Follow the instructions provided by Apple to open the widget menu on the Home Screen.
Search for Healthy Widgets in the search textfield or by scrolling down the list of apps in the widgets menu.
Select a widget size in the widget picker. Small and Large widgets are currently available for the Home Screen.
When the widget is added to the Home Screen, by default it will show Step Count. Tap on the widget then use the picker to select an option from your list of saved widget configurations.
Add a Widget to the Lock Screen
Follow the instructions provided by Apple to open the widget menu on the Lock Screen.
Search for Healthy Widgets in the search textfield or by scrolling down the list of apps in the widgets menu.
Select a widget size in the widget picker. Circular and Rectangular widgets are currently available for the Lock Screen.
When the widget is added to the Lock Screen, by default it will show Step Count. Tap on the widget then use the picker to select an option from your list of saved widget configurations.
Troubleshooting
Here are some solutions to common issues:
Widgets not updating: iOS intelligently updates throughout the day with new data. Apps are limited in how frequently they can update data. It is possible to force an update by opening Healthy Widgets in the foreground.
